Product Installation Instructions for Oil Filter Compatible with V92C and V92SC Models (1999-2001 Deluxe Special Edition)

Tools Required:

1. Socket Wrench Set

   • To remove the old oil filter and secure the new one.

2. Oil Filter Wrench

   • Essential for loosening and removing the old oil filter.

3. Drain Pan

   • To catch any oil that may spill during the removal of the oil filter.

4. Rag or Shop Towels

   • For cleaning any spilled oil and wiping the oil filter area.

5. New Oil Filter

   • Ensure that the new filter is compatible with V92C and V92SC (1999-2001).

6. Engine Oil

   • To top off after replacing the filter.

7. Funnel

   • To easily pour new engine oil if needed.

8. Safety Gloves and Glasses

   • To protect your hands and eyes while working on the vehicle.

Installation Steps:

1. Prepare the Vehicle

   • Ensure the vehicle is on a flat surface and turn off the engine. Allow the engine to cool if it has been running.

2. Drain Old Oil

   • Place a drain pan underneath the oil pan. Remove the oil drain plug (if applicable) to drain the old oil.

3. Remove Old Oil Filter

   • Use the oil filter wrench to loosen and remove the old oil filter. Be careful, as some oil may still be inside the old filter.

4. Prepare New Oil Filter

   • Apply a thin layer of new engine oil to the rubber gasket of the new oil filter. This helps ensure a good seal.

5. Install New Oil Filter

   • Screw the new oil filter into place by hand. Make sure it is snug but do not overtighten.

6. Replace Oil Drain Plug

   • Once the old oil has completely drained, replace the oil drain plug and tighten it securely.

7. Add New Engine Oil

   • Using a funnel, pour the new engine oil into the engine. Refer to the owner's manual for the correct oil type and capacity.

8. Check for Leaks

   • Start the engine and let it run for a minute. Check for any leaks around the oil filter and oil drain plug.

9. Dispose of Old Oil and Filter

   • Properly dispose of the old oil and filter at a local recycling center.
