Product Installation Instructions for Motorcycle Oil Filter

Thank you for choosing our Motorcycle Oil Filter, compatible with 250cc to 530cc Enduro and Adventure bikes. Follow these instructions to ensure a smooth installation.

Tools Required:

1. Socket Wrench Set
2. Oil Filter Wrench
3. Torque Wrench
4. Standard Screwdriver Set
5. Drain Pan or Bucket
6. Clean Rags or Paper Towels
7. Funnel (for oil)
8. New Engine Oil (as per your motorcycle's specifications)
9. Safety Gloves

Installation Steps:

1. Preparation:

   • Ensure the motorcycle is parked on a level surface.
   • Allow the engine to cool down completely before starting the process.

2. Drain the Old Oil:

   • Place the drain pan or bucket under the engine to catch the old oil.
   • Remove the oil drain plug using the socket wrench, and allow the old oil to fully drain.

3. Remove the Old Oil Filter:

   • Use the oil filter wrench to loosen and remove the old oil filter.
   • Be cautious; some oil will likely spill out during this process.

4. Prepare the New Oil Filter:

   • Take the new oil filter and apply a small amount of new engine oil to the rubber gasket on the top of the filter. This helps ensure a proper seal.

5. Install the New Oil Filter:

   • Screw the new oil filter onto the engine by hand. Make sure it is snug but do not overtighten. You may use the oil filter wrench for a final snug fit if necessary.

6. Reinstall the Oil Drain Plug:

   • Replace the oil drain plug and tighten it securely using the socket wrench.

7. Fill with New Oil:

   • Use a funnel to pour new engine oil into the engine through the oil fill cap. Refer to your owner’s manual for the correct type and amount of oil.

8. Check for Leaks:

   • Start the motorcycle and let it idle for a few minutes. Check around the oil filter and drain plug for any signs of leakage.

9. Dispose of Old Oil and Filter:

   • Properly dispose of the old oil and oil filter at a designated recycling center in your area.

10. Regular Maintenance:

    • Remember to check and replace the oil filter regularly as part of your motorcycle maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
