- Collect the soft lint-free cloth, rubber gloves (if desired), and a small container for holding the old print head.

- Make sure the printer is powered off and unplugged from the electrical socket. Allow the printer to cool down if it has been used recently.

- Open the printer access door carefully to expose the print head compartment. Refer to your printer's manual if needed.
