Product Installation Instructions for Compatible Front and Rear Brake Pads for 600 and 900 Ace Motorcycle Models (2018-2022)

Tools Needed:

1. Socket Wrench Set
2. Torque Wrench
3. Flathead Screwdriver
4. Phillips Screwdriver
5. Allen Wrench Set
6. Brake Cleaner
7. Rags or Cloth

Installation Steps:

1. Preparation:

   • Ensure the motorcycle is on a stable surface and turned off.
   • Wear safety goggles and gloves to protect yourself during the installation.

2. Remove the Wheel:

   • Use a socket wrench to loosen and remove the axle nut.
   • Carefully lift the motorcycle and remove the front or rear wheel depending on which brake pads you are replacing.

3. Access the Brake Caliper:

   • Locate the brake caliper and use the appropriate Allen wrench or socket to remove the mounting bolts.
   • Carefully slide the caliper off the brake rotor.

4. Remove Old Brake Pads:

   • Take note of the positioning of the old brake pads.
   • Remove the old brake pads from the caliper by pushing the retaining clips or pins as necessary.

5. Clean the Caliper:

   • Use brake cleaner and a rag to clean the caliper to remove any dust, grease, or debris.

6. Install New Brake Pads:

   • Place the new brake pads into the caliper in the same configuration as the old ones.
   • Ensure they are securely positioned.

7. Reattach the Brake Caliper:

   • Carefully slide the caliper back onto the brake rotor and align it with the mounting points.
   • Reinstall the caliper mounting bolts and use a torque wrench to tighten them to the manufacturer's specifications.

8. Reinstall the Wheel:

   • Place the wheel back onto the motorcycle.
   • Reinstall the axle nut and tighten it with a socket wrench.

9. Test the Brakes:

   • Before taking your motorcycle on the road, pump the brake lever several times to ensure that the pads are properly seated against the rotor.
   • Check for any unusual noises or irregularities.

10. Final Check:

• Ensure all tools are removed from the working area.
• Make a final inspection to confirm everything is securely fastened.
