Product Installation Instructions for Piston Kit (50cc to 90cc Motorcycles)

Tools Required:

1. Socket Set: For removing and tightening nuts and bolts.
2. Torque Wrench: To ensure proper torque specifications when reinstalling components.
3. Piston Ring Compressors: Helps in sliding the piston into the cylinder without damaging the rings.
4. Allen Wrench Set: For any hex screws that may be present.
5. Screwdriver Set: Both flathead and Phillips screws for various components.
6. Pliers: For gripping and holding small parts.
7. Oil: For lubricating engine components during assembly.
8. Clean Rags: For cleaning surfaces and wiping down parts.
9. Gasket Scraper: For removing the old gasket material if necessary.
10. Safety Glasses and Gloves: For personal protection during installation.

Installation Steps:

1. Preparation: Ensure your motorcycle is on a stable surface and remove the seat and side panels for better access.

2. Remove the Existing Cylinder:

   • Use the socket set to remove the bolts securing the cylinder head.
   • Carefully detach the cylinder from the engine block.

3. Remove Old Piston:

   • Take out the pin clips and gently slide out the existing piston.
   • Be cautious not to damage piston rings or cylinder walls.

4. Install New Piston:

   • Lubricate the new piston rings and cylinder walls with oil.
   • Use the piston ring compressor to fit the new piston into the cylinder.
   • Make sure the piston is oriented correctly as per the manufacturer's instructions.

5. Reconnect the Cylinder:

   • Align the cylinder over the piston and slide it down slowly.
   • Reinstall the cylinder head and tighten the bolts to the manufacturer's torque specifications.

6. Final Checks:

   • Replace any gaskets as needed to prevent leaks.

7. Reassemble and Test:

   • Reinstall the bike's body panels and seat.
