Installation Instructions for DT01371 Projector Lamp with Housing

Tools Required:

1. Phillips screwdriver
2. Soft cloth or lint-free gloves (to handle the lamp safely)
3. Container or bag (to store screws)

Installation Steps:

1. Preparation:

   • Ensure the projector is powered off and unplugged from the power source.
   • Allow the projector to cool down if it has been in use.

2. Access the Lamp Compartment:

   • Locate the lamp compartment cover on the projector.
   • Use the Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws securing the lamp cover. Place the screws in a container to avoid losing them.
   • Carefully lift off the lamp cover and set it aside.

3. Remove the Old Lamp:

   • Identify the existing lamp. It will be secured with screws or locks.
   • Unscrew the old lamp using the Phillips screwdriver.
   • Gently pull the old lamp out of the compartment. Take care not to touch the glass portion of the lamp with bare hands.

4. Install the New Lamp:

   • Take the new DT01371 projector lamp with housing and align it with the connector inside the lamp compartment.
   • Carefully slide the new lamp into place until it clicks or locks securely.
   • Reinsert the screws you previously removed to secure the new lamp.

5. Reattach the Lamp Cover:

   • Place the lamp compartment cover back on the projector.
   • Secure it with the screws, ensuring it is tightly closed.

6. Final Steps:

   • Ensure all tools and materials are cleared away from the projector.
   • Plug the projector back into the power source.
   • Turn on the projector to check if the new lamp is functioning properly.

• Be cautious while handling the lamp, as it may be fragile.
• Wear gloves or use a soft cloth to avoid fingerprints on the lamp.
• Dispose of the old lamp according to local regulations.
