Product Installation Instructions for Impeller Kit with Key for Outboard Engines 65 to 200 HP

Tools Required:
-Socket wrench set

• Screwdriver set (both Phillips and flathead)
  -Pliers
• Marine grease
  -Clean cloth or rag
• Bucket or container (for draining old coolant)
• Safety goggles
• Gloves

Installation Steps:

1. Preparation:

   • Ensure the outboard engine is turned off and completely cool.
   • Disconnect the battery to prevent any electrical issues during installation.
   • Gather all the necessary tools listed above.

2. Drain Coolant:

   • Place a bucket or container beneath the engine to catch any cooling water that may leak out.
   • Remove the drain plug or disconnect the hose to allow the old coolant to fully drain.

3. Access the Impeller:

   • Remove the screws securing the lower unit of the engine using the socket wrench or screwdriver.
   • Carefully pull the lower unit away from the engine. Ensure not to damage any connecting wires or hoses.

4. Remove Old Impeller:

   • Locate the old impeller within the water pump housing.
   • Carefully detach it, taking note of its orientation for the new installation. You may need to use pliers to grip and pull it out.

5. Install New Impeller:

   • Apply a small amount of marine grease to the new impeller to facilitate installation.
