Installation Guide for Starter Relay for UTV Models

Tools Required:

• Torx screwdriver (T20)
• Phillips screwdriver
• Wire strippers

Step 1: Locate the Old Starter Relay

• Find the old starter relay in your UTV's electrical system. It is usually located near the battery or the starter motor.
• Take note of the wire connections and the mounting screws.

Step 2: Disconnect the Battery

• Disconnect the negative (black) cable from the battery to prevent any accidental starts or electrical shocks.
• Use a wrench or pliers to loosen the nut holding the cable in place.

Step 3: Remove the Old Starter Relay

• Use a Torx screwdriver to remove the screws holding the old starter relay in place.
• Gently pull the relay out of its mounting bracket.

Step 4: Disconnect the Wire Connections

• Use wire strippers to remove any insulation from the wires connected to the old starter relay.
• Use needle-nose pliers to grasp the wires and gently pull them off the relay.
• Take note of the wire colors and connections.

Step 5: Install the New Starter Relay

• Mount the new starter relay in the same location as the old one.
• Use the Torx screwdriver to secure it in place.

• Tighten the nut holding the cable in place.
