Prepare the Vehicle: Park the vehicle on a flat surface, engage the parking brake, and turn off the ignition. Raise the vehicle using the jack and secure it with jack stands.
Remove the Old Accumulator: Locate the old suspension accumulator. Use your socket and wrench to remove any bolts or clamps holding it in place. Carefully disconnect any attached hoses, allowing for fluid drainage into the catch pan.
Install the New Accumulator: Position the new suspension accumulator in place. Reattach any hoses, ensuring they are secure. Use the socket set to tighten any bolts or clamps back to the manufacturer's torque specifications.
Check for Leaks: Before lowering the vehicle, check all connections for leaks. If everything looks secure, continue with the installation.
Lower the Vehicle: Carefully remove the jack stands and lower the vehicle back to the ground.
Test Drive: Once installed, take the vehicle for a test drive to ensure proper function and performance of the suspension system.
