Product Installation Guide

Required Tools:

1. Socket wrench or ratchet and socket set
2. Torx screwdriver (for some models)
3. Pliers or wrench for gripping and bending (for some models)
4. Gasket sealant (optional, but recommended)
   5.Clean rag or paper towels
5. Safety glasses and gloves (recommended)

Preparation:

1. Make sure to purchase the correct cylinder head gasket for your H-D motorcycle model, as specified in the product description.
2. Read through the installation manual carefully before starting the process.
3. Ensure a clean and well-lit workspace, free from any distractions or hazards.

Step 1: Remove the Old Gasket

1. Locate the cylinder head and remove any screws, nuts, or clips holding it in place.
2. Carefully lift the cylinder head off the engine block, taking note of any wire harnesses or other components that may be attached.
3. Remove the old gasket, taking care not to damage the surrounding areas.

Step 2: Clean and Prepare the Surfaces

1. Clean the cylinder head and engine block surfaces with a rag or paper towels to remove any dirt, grime, or old gasket residue.
2. Apply a thin layer of gasket sealant to the cylinder head surface, if desired (consult manufacturer's recommendations).
3. Ensure the surfaces are free from any oils or contaminants that may affect the new gasket's performance.

Step 3: Install the New Gasket

1. Place the new gasket onto the cylinder head, ensuring it is properly seated and centered.
2. Align the gasket with the engine block, using a reference point or an alignment tool to ensure proper placement.
3. Gently press the gasket into place, taking care not to distort or stretch it.

Step 4: Reassemble the Cylinder Head

1. Replace any screws, nuts, or clips you removed earlier, ensuring they are securely tightened in the correct sequence.
2. Reconnect any wire harnesses or other components that were removed.

Step 5: Start and Test the Engine

1. Start the engine and check for any leaks or unusual noises.
2. Monitor the engine temperature and oil pressure gauges for any abnormalities.
3. If all seems normal, congratulations! You have successfully installed the new cylinder head gasket.
