Installation Instructions for Water Pump Compatible with C4 C5 DS3 Parking Heater Systems

Tools Required:

-Socket wrench set

• Screwdriver set (flathead and Phillips)
  -Pliers
  -Hose clamps
• Bucket or container (for any excess coolant)
• Engine coolant (if needed for refilling)
• Torque wrench (for specific bolts, if necessary)

Installation Steps:

1. Preparation:

   • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and the engine is cool.
   • Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery to avoid any electrical shorts.

2. Drain the Coolant:

   • Position a bucket or container under the vehicle to catch any coolant.
   • Locate the radiator drain plug and open it to drain the coolant.

3. Remove the Old Water Pump:

   • Disconnect any hoses connected to the old water pump.
   • Remove the bolts securing the water pump using the appropriate socket wrench.
   • Carefully take out the old water pump. Dispose of it according to local regulations.

4. Prepare the New Water Pump:

   • Inspect the new water pump for any damage before installation.
   • Ensure all O-rings and gaskets are in place and properly seated.

5. Install the New Water Pump:

   • Position the new water pump in place and hand-tighten the bolts to secure it.
