Installation Steps:

1. Preparation:

6. Clean Valve Guides:

   • Use a clean cloth or paper towels to wipe down the valve guides and ensure there’s no debris.

7. Install New Valve Stem Seals:

   • Apply a small amount of engine oil to the new valve stem seals to ease installation.
   • Carefully push the new seals into place, ensuring they are seated properly on the valve guides.

8. Reassemble the Engine:

   • Replace the valve cover, ensuring the gasket is in good condition. If necessary, use a gasket scraper to clean the mating surfaces.
   • Secure the valve cover with bolts and use a torque wrench to tighten them to the manufacturer’s specifications.

9. Refill Engine Oil:

   • Replace the oil drain plug and refill the engine with the appropriate grade of oil.

10. Reconnect the Battery:

    • Reconnect the negative terminal of the battery.

11. Final Check:

    • Start the engine and check for any leaks around the valve cover.
    • Monitor the engine’s performance to ensure the new valve stem seals are functioning correctly.
