Product Installation Instructions for Compatible Intake and Exhaust Valves Set

Compatibility:
This valve set is compatible with multiple models including XL125, CB125S, XL125S, ATC185, XL185S, ATC200, XL200R, XR200R, and TRX200.

Tools Required:

1. Socket Wrench Set

   • Ensure you have the appropriate socket sizes to fit the bolts on your motorcycle.

2. Torque Wrench

   • For measuring and applying the correct torque specifications when installing the valves.

3. Screwdrivers

   • A set of both Phillips and flathead screwdrivers for removing and securing various components.

4. Pliers

   • To assist in manipulating various fittings and for removing old valve components if necessary.

5. Gasket Scraper or Plastic Scraper

   • For removing old gaskets from the engine surfaces if applicable.

6. Clean Cloth/Rags

   • To keep the work area clean and wipe any excess oil or debris.

7. Engine Assembly Lube

   • To lubricate the new valves during installation for smoother operation.

8. Safety Gloves and Goggles

   • To ensure protection while handling tools and engine components.

Installation Steps:

1. Preparation:

2. Remove Old Valves:

   • Use the socket wrench to remove the cylinder head bolts. Carefully detach the cylinder head to access the old valves.

3. Clean Surfaces:

   • Use the gasket scraper to clean any residual gasket material from the cylinder head and engine block surfaces.

4. Install New Valves:

   • Insert the new intake and exhaust valves into their respective ports.

5. Apply Engine Assembly Lube:

   • Apply engine assembly lube to the new valves prior to installation. This ensures a smoother operation upon startup.

6. Reassemble:

   • Replace the cylinder head and secure it using the appropriate torque specifications with the torque wrench.

7. Final Checks:

   • Double-check all connections and ensure no tools are left inside the engine bay.

8. Start the Engine:

   • Once everything is reassembled, start the engine and check for any unusual sounds or leaks.
