Installation Guide for Compatible Front and Rear Brake Pads

Required Tools:

1. Socket wrench or ratchet and socket: A 14mm or 9/16" socket is required to remove the old brake pads.
2. Torx screwdriver: A T25 or T30 Torx screwdriver may be required to remove the caliper bolts.

Step 1: Remove the Old Brake Pads

1. Jack up the motorcycle and remove the wheel to access the brake caliper.
2. Use a 14mm or 9/16" socket to remove the caliper bolts.
3. Remove the old brake pads and set them aside.

Step 2: Inspect and Clean the Brake Caliper

1. Inspect the brake caliper for any debris or old brake fluid residue.
2. Use clean rags to wipe down the caliper and surrounding areas.

Step 3: Install the New Brake Pads

1. Take the new brake pads and align them with the caliper.
2. Use the new brake pad installation tool (if required) to ensure proper alignment.
3. Gently push the new brake pads into place until they click into position.

Step 4: Reinstall the Caliper

1. Reinstall the caliper bolts and tighten them in a star pattern.
2. Use a Torx screwdriver to tighten the caliper bolts if necessary.

Step 5: Bleed the Brake System

1. Pump the brake lever several times to prime the brake system.
2. Bleed the brake system by loosening the bleed valve and allowing air to escape.

Step 6: Test the Brakes

1. Test the brakes by applying gentle pressure to the brake lever.
2. Check for proper brake function and feel.
