Product Installation Instructions for Oil Filter Grid Compatible with 500CC and 600CC ATVs, UTVs, and Sand Buggies

Tools Required:

1. Socket Wrench Set - To remove the old oil filter and install the new one.
2. Oil Filter Wrench - For better grip and easier removal of the oil filter.
3. Pliers - To assist in tightening or loosening any clamps or hose fittings.
4. Drain Pan - To catch any oil that may spill during the removal of the old oil filter.
5. Rags or Paper Towels - For cleaning up any spills or drips.
6. Funnel - To add oil to the engine after the filter installation.
7. New Oil (Compatible with your ATV/UTV/buggy) - To refill the engine oil after the filter change.
8. Safety Goggles and Gloves - For personal protection during the process.

Installation Steps:

1. Preparation:

   • Ensure the ATV/UTV is parked on a level surface.
   • Make sure the engine is cool before beginning the installation.

2. Remove the Old Oil Filter:

   • Place the drain pan under the oil filter area to catch any leaking oil.
   • Use the oil filter wrench or socket wrench to loosen and remove the old oil filter. Be cautious of any residual oil.

3. Install the New Oil Filter:

   • Before installing the new filter, apply a thin coating of new oil to the rubber gasket on the new oil filter. This helps create a better seal.
   • Screw the new oil filter into place by hand, ensuring it is snug but not overtightened.

4. Refill Engine Oil:

   • Remove the oil fill cap and use a funnel to add the appropriate amount of new oil to the engine.
   • Replace the oil fill cap securely.

5. Check for Leaks:

   • Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes while checking for any leaks around the newly installed oil filter.
   • Turn off the engine and check the oil level. Add more oil if necessary.

6. Clean Up:

   • Dispose of the old oil and oil filter properly in accordance with local regulations.
   • Clean any spills with rags or paper towels.
