Installation Instructions for TT600 Model Speedometer Drive Gear

Tools Required:

• Allen wrench (3mm)
• Screwdriver (flathead and Phillips)
• Socket wrench (10mm)
• Pliers (optional)

Step 1: Prepare the Vehicle

1. Make sure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and the engine is turned off.
2. Engage the parking brake and put the transmission in neutral gear.

Step 2: Remove the Old Drive Gear

1. Locate the old drive gear on the speedometer cable.
2. Use a 3mm Allen wrench to loosen the set screw that holds the drive gear in place.
3. Gently pull the drive gear away from the speedometer cable.
4. Remove any remaining screws or clips that hold the old drive gear in place.

Step 3: Install the New Drive Gear

1. Take the new drive gear and align it with the speedometer cable.
2. Use the 3mm Allen wrench to secure the new drive gear in place.
3. Tighten the set screw firmly, but do not overtighten.

Step 4: Connect the Speedometer Cable

1. Locate the speedometer cable and connect it to the new drive gear.
2. Make sure the cable is securely attached and not twisted or pinched.

Step 5: Reassemble the Vehicle

1. Reattach any screws or clips that were removed during the installation process.
2. Put the transmission in gear and start the engine.
3. Check the speedometer to ensure it is functioning properly.
