Product Installation Instructions for Fuel Pump Filter Strainer Element

1. Socket Wrench Set
2. Screwdrivers (Philips and Flathead)

Installation Steps:

1. Preparation:

   • Ensure the motorcycle is on a flat surface and the engine is cool.
   • Disconnect the battery to prevent any electrical issues during installation.

2. Accessing the Fuel Pump:

   • Locate the fuel pump assembly on your motorcycle. This may involve removing the seat, side panels, or fuel tank.
   • Use the socket wrench to carefully remove any screws or bolts holding the fuel tank or panels in place.

3. Disconnecting the Fuel Lines:

   • Use the fuel line disconnect tool (if needed) to detach the fuel lines from the fuel pump. Make sure to have a clean rag handy to catch any spills.
   • Take your time to prevent damaging any fuel lines or connectors.

4. Removing the Old Filter Strainer:

   • Once you have access to the fuel pump, carefully remove the old filter strainer element from the pump by unscrewing or unclipping it as per your motorcycle model’s specifications.

5. Installing the New Filter Strainer:

   • Take the new filter strainer and align it with the fuel pump.
   • Secure it in place by screwing or clipping it as required, ensuring it is fitted snugly and securely.

6. Reconnecting Fuel Lines:

   • Reattach the fuel lines to the fuel pump, ensuring a tight fit to prevent leaks.
   • Double-check all connections to ensure they are secure.

7. Reassembling the Motorcycle:

   • Replace the fuel tank, side panels, or seat, and tighten all screws and bolts.
   • Reconnect the battery.
