Product Installation Instructions for Scooter Compatible Front and Rear Brake Pads Shoes

Preparation:

Before starting the installation, ensure you have the following tools ready:

Tools Required:

1. Socket wrench set
2. Screwdriver (Phillips and flathead)
3. Pliers
4. Torque wrench

6. Safety goggles

Installation Steps:

1. Safety First:

   • Park your scooter on a flat surface and turn off the engine.
   • Put on your safety goggles and gloves.

2. Wheel Removal:

   • Using the socket wrench, loosen and remove the bolts securing the front or rear wheel, depending on which brake pads you are replacing.
   • Carefully remove the wheel and set it aside.

3. Removing Old Brake Pads:

   • Locate the brake caliper and remove the bolts holding it in place using the appropriate socket wrench.
   • Carefully slide the caliper off the rotor.
   • Remove the old brake pads from the caliper.

4. Cleaning the Area:

   • Use the brake cleaner to clean any dust or debris from the caliper and rotor.
   • Wipe down the components with a clean cloth.

5. Installing New Brake Pads:

   • Insert the new brake pads into the caliper, ensuring they are positioned correctly and securely.
   • Reinstall the brake caliper over the rotor and secure it with bolts, ensuring you adhere to the manufacturer's torque specifications.

6. Reinstalling the Wheel:

   • Carefully place the wheel back onto the axle.
   • Secure it with the appropriate bolts and tighten them using the socket wrench.

7. Final Checks:

   • Before lowering the scooter, spin the wheel to ensure everything is functioning smoothly.
   • Double-check all bolts for tightness.
   • Remove any tools from the area.

8. Testing:

   • Start your scooter and gently test the brakes at low speed to ensure they are functioning properly.
   • Check for any unusual noises or issues during the braking process.
