Product Installation Instructions for Coil On Plug Conversion Kit with Coil Plate for H22, F20B, H23A VTEC

Tools Needed:

1. Socket Set (including 10mm, 12mm, and 14mm sockets)
2. Ratchet Wrench
3. Torque Wrench
4. Flathead Screwdriver

7. Electrical Tape
8. Multi-meter (for testing connections)
9. Zip Ties or Cable Management Clips (for organizing wiring)

Installation Steps:

1. Preparation:

   • Ensure the engine is off and cool before starting the installation.
   • Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery to prevent any electrical shorts.

2. Remove the Existing Ignition System:

   • Locate the existing ignition coil(s) on your H22, F20B, or H23A VTEC engine.
   • Carefully disconnect the wiring harness from each of the ignition coils.
   • Remove the bolts securing the ignition coils to the engine using the socket set.
   • Take out the old ignition coils from the engine.

3. Install Coil Plate:

   • Position the coil plate in the designated area on the engine.
   • Use the provided bolts to secure the coil plate onto the engine using a socket set. Ensure they are tightened to the manufacturer’s specified torque.

4. Install New Ignition Coils:

   • Attach the new ignition coils to the coil plate, securing them with the provided hardware.
   • Ensure each ignition coil is firmly in place.

5. Reconnect Wiring:

   • Connect the wiring harness to each ignition coil, ensuring a snug and secure fit.
   • Use wire cutters/strippers if necessary to adjust wire lengths, and use electrical tape to secure connections if needed.

6. Final Checks:

   • Double-check all connections to ensure everything is installed correctly and securely.
   • Organize any loose wiring with zip ties or cable management clips to prevent any interference with engine operations.

7. Reconnect the Battery:

   • Reconnect the negative terminal of the battery.

8. Testing:

   • Start the engine and check for any error codes or warning lights on the dashboard.
   • Use a multi-meter to test the functionality of the ignition system if necessary.
