Tools Required:

  2. Phillips screwdriver
  3. Flathead screwdriver
  4. Torque wrench (if applicable)
  5. Needle-nose pliers
  6. Electrical tape

    • Disconnect the battery to prevent any electrical hazards during installation.
  2. Remove the Old Throttle Position Sensor:

    • Locate the existing throttle position sensor on the outboard motor.
    • Use the adjustable wrench or screwdriver to carefully remove any screws or bolts securing the old sensor.
    • Disconnect the electrical connector from the old sensor by gently pulling it apart. You may need to use needle-nose pliers for assistance.
  3. Install the New Throttle Position Sensor:

    • Take the new throttle position sensor out of the packaging and ensure it matches the old one.
