Tools Required:

  1. Socket wrench set (including 10mm and 12mm sockets)
  2. Torque wrench
  3. Screwdrivers (Phillips and flathead)
  4. Pliers
  5. Brake cleaner
  6. Clean rags or shop towels
  7. Safety glasses

Installation Steps:

  1. Preparation:

    • Ensure the motorcycle or scooter is on a stable and level surface.
    • Put on safety glasses and gloves for protection.
  2. Remove the Front Wheel:

    • Use the socket wrench to loosen the axle nut.
    • Carefully remove the front wheel from the fork.
  3. Access the Brake Caliper:

    • Locate the brake caliper attached to the wheel.
    • Remove the bolts securing the caliper using the appropriate socket size.
    • Slide the caliper off the brake rotor.
  4. Remove Old Brake Pads:

    • Carefully remove the old brake pads from the brake caliper.
    • Take note of the orientation of the pads for reference when installing the new ones.
  5. Clean the Brake Caliper:

    • Use brake cleaner and a clean rag to wipe down the caliper and remove any debris or dust.
  6. Install New Brake Pads:

    • Insert the new organic brake pads into the caliper in the same orientation as the old pads.
    • Ensure they fit snugly and are aligned properly.
  7. Reattach the Brake Caliper:

    • Carefully position the caliper back onto the rotor.
    • Tighten the caliper bolts securely using the socket wrench. Refer to the manufacturer's torque specifications for the correct tightening.
  8. Reinstall the Front Wheel:

    • Place the front wheel back onto the forks.
    • Tighten the axle nut securely with the socket wrench. Again, refer to the torque specifications.
  9. Final Checks:

    • Pump the brake lever a few times to seat the new pads against the rotor before riding.
  10. Test Ride:
