Preparation: Tools Required

Before beginning the oil change, ensure you have the following tools ready:

1. Socket Wrench Set: To remove the oil drain plug.

2. Oil Filter Wrench: For easy removal of the old oil filter (if applicable).

3. Oil Drain Pan: To collect the old oil during the change.

4. Funnel: To facilitate the pouring of new oil without spills.

Steps for Changing the Oil

1. Warm Up the Engine: Start your bike and let it run for a few minutes to warm up the oil. This will help it drain better.

3. Prepare the Work Area: Position your oil drain pan under the engine to catch the old oil.

4. Remove the Oil Drain Plug: Using the socket wrench, carefully loosen and remove the oil drain plug. Allow the old oil to completely drain into the pan.

6. Replace the Drain Plug: Once all old oil has drained, replace and tighten the oil drain plug with your socket wrench.

7. Add New Oil: Using a funnel, pour the recommended amount of Compatible Oil into the engine through the oil fill cap.

8. Check Oil Level: Start the engine and let it run for a minute. Turn it off and check the oil level with the dipstick, adding more oil if necessary.

9. Clean Up: Properly dispose of the old oil and any used filters, and clean any spills using rags or paper towels.

10. Final Checks: Recheck the oil level one last time to ensure it is at the correct level.
