Installation Instructions for Universal Fuel Supply Valve Handle for 400-600cc Motorcycles

Tools Required:

1. Flathead screwdriver
2. Phillips screwdriver
3. Adjustable wrench or pliers
4. Safety goggles
   5.Clean cloth or rag
5. Fuel line hose clamp (if necessary)

Installation Steps:

1. Preparation:

   • Ensure the motorcycle is parked on a level surface and the engine is cool.
   • Disconnect the battery to avoid any electrical issues during installation.

2. Access the Oil Tank Cock:

   • Locate the oil tank area on your motorcycle. Depending on the model, you may need to remove side panels or covers to gain access.

3. Remove Existing Valve (if applicable):

   • If there is an old fuel valve, use the flathead screwdriver or Phillips screwdriver to remove any screws securing it.
   • Disconnect any fuel lines attached to the old valve. Be cautious as some fuel may spill out.

4. Install the Universal Fuel Supply Valve Handle:

   • Position the new valve handle in the appropriate slot of the oil tank cock.
   • Secure the valve using screws or clamps as needed. Ensure it is tightly fastened to prevent any leaks.

5. Connect Fuel Lines:

   • Attach the fuel lines to the new valve, ensuring they are properly aligned.
   • Use a hose clamp if necessary to secure the connections.

6. Check for Leaks:

   • Before reassembling any removed parts, turn the fuel supply on and check for leaks around the newly installed valve.
   • If no leaks are found, proceed to the next step.

7. Reassemble Motorcycle:

   • Replace any side panels or covers that were removed during the installation.
   • Make sure everything is secure.

8. Final Check:

   • Reconnect the battery and start the motorcycle.
   • Allow the engine to idle and check the operation of the new fuel valve. Test the throttle response to ensure proper functioning.
