Product Installation Instructions for Fuel Pump Strainer Filter

Tools Required:

1. Screwdriver Set: To remove any screws securing the fuel pump assembly.
2. Pliers: For gripping and removing any clamps or hoses.
3. Wrench Set: To disconnect any bolts or nuts if needed.
4. Fuel Line Disconnect Tool: (if applicable) to safely detach the fuel line from the pump.
5. Cleaning Cloth: To clean any spilled fuel and keep the workspace tidy.
6. Safety Goggles: To protect your eyes during installation.
7. Gloves: To protect your hands from fuel and debris.

Installation Steps:

1. Safety First: Ensure the motorcycle is parked on a stable surface. Wear safety goggles and gloves before beginning the installation.

2. Turn Off Fuel Supply: Locate the fuel petcock and turn it off to prevent any leaks during installation.

3. Remove the Fuel Pump Assembly: Use the screwdriver and pliers to carefully detach the fuel pump assembly from its housing.

4. Disconnect Fuel Lines: Utilize the fuel line disconnect tool to detach the fuel lines from the pump. Be cautious of any residual fuel.

5. Replace Strainer Filter: Remove the old fuel pump strainer filter from the pump. Install the new strainer filter by ensuring it fits securely in its designated slot.

6. Reattach Fuel Lines: Reconnect the fuel lines to the pump, ensuring they are properly secured to avoid any leaks.

7. Reassemble Pump Assembly: Carefully place the fuel pump assembly back in its original position and secure it with screws or bolts.

8. Restore Fuel Supply: Turn the fuel petcock back on and check for any leaks around the newly installed strainer filter.

9. Test the Motorcycle: Start the motorcycle to ensure it runs smoothly and the installation is successful.
