Remove the Seat or Cover:
Use the Phillips screwdriver to remove any screws securing the seat or panel that covers the air filter compartment. Carefully lift it away.
Locate the Air Filter:
Find the air filter housing—it is usually a rectangular or oval box situated near the engine.
Take Out the Old Air Filter:
Gently unclip or unscrew the housing to access the old air filter. Carefully remove it, ensuring not to let any debris fall into the intake.
Clean the Housing:
Wipe the inside of the air filter housing with a clean cloth to remove any accumulated dirt or debris.
Install the New Air Filter:
Take your new air filter and place it into the housing. Ensure it fits snugly and aligns properly with any clips or screws.
Reattach the Housing:
Secure the air filter housing back in place by clipping or screwing it down.
Replace the Seat or Cover:
Reattach the seat or panel, ensuring all screws are tightly secured.
Final Check:
Double-check that everything is securely in place. Start your scooter and listen for any unusual sounds, ensuring proper installation.
