Tool Requirements:

Before starting the installation, please ensure you have the following tools ready:

• Socket wrench or ratchet and socket set
• Torx screwdriver (for removing old cylinder head)
• Pliers and punch (for removing old gasket)
• Measuring tape (for verifying cylinder head clearance)
• Safety glasses and gloves (for protecting yourself from debris and sharp edges)

Step 1: Remove Old Cylinder Head

1. Remove the old cylinder head by unscrewing the Torx screws using a Torx screwdriver.
2. Carefully pull the old cylinder head away from the engine block.

Step 2: Remove Old Gasket

1. Use pliers to remove the old gasket from the engine block.
2. Punch out any remaining gasket material from the engine block.

Step 3: Inspect Cylinder Head Clearance

1. Measure the clearance between the cylinder head and engine block using a measuring tape.
2. Verify that the clearance is within the specified range.

Step 4: Install New Gasket

1. Place the new gasket on the engine block, ensuring it is centered and evenly spaced.
2. Use a punch to secure the gasket in place.

Step 5: Install New Cylinder Head

1. Place the new cylinder head on top of the engine block, ensuring it is properly aligned with the gasket.
2. Screw the Torx screws back into place using a Torx screwdriver.

Step 6: Tighten Cylinder Head

1. Use a socket wrench or ratchet and socket set to tighten the cylinder head bolts in a star pattern.
2. Ensure the bolts are tightened to the specified torque specification.

Step 7: Test Engine
