Engine Damper Brace Installation Guide

Important:

• Please read this installation guide carefully before starting the installation process.

Tools Required:

• Socket wrench or ratchet and socket set
• Torx screwdriver (T20)
• Allen wrench (3mm and 5mm)
• Pliers
• Wrench (10mm and 12mm)
  *Safety glasses
• Work light (optional)

Materials Required:

• Engine Damper Brace (EP-CA0177)
• Mounting hardware (bolts, nuts, and washers)
• Silicone grease

Step 1: Prepare the Vehicle

1. Raise the vehicle using a car lift or jack stands to provide clearance to work underneath the engine.
2. Remove the heat shield and skid plate to access the engine mounts.
3. Disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent any accidental starts.

Step 2: Remove the Stock Engine Mounts

1. Use a socket wrench to loosen the bolts holding the stock engine mount in place.
2. Remove the bolts and carefully pull out the stock engine mount.
3. Repeat the process for the other engine mount.

Step 3: Install the Engine Damper Brace

1. Place the Engine Damper Brace on the engine mounts, ensuring proper alignment.
2. Use the provided mounting hardware to secure the Engine Damper Brace in place.
3. Tighten the bolts in a star pattern to ensure even pressure.

Step 4: Reinstall the Stock Engine Mounts

1. Reattach the stock engine mounts to the Engine Damper Brace using the same bolts removed earlier.
2. Tighten the bolts in a star pattern to ensure even pressure.

Step 5: Reinstall the Heat Shield and Skid Plate

1. Reattach the heat shield and skid plate to their original positions.
2. Ensure all bolts are tightened securely.

Step 6: Test and Adjust

1. Start the engine and check for any unusual noises or vibrations.
2. Take the vehicle for a test drive to ensure proper function and adjust as needed.
