Installation Instructions for 52.4mm Cylinder Kit with Piston Ring and Pin Compatible with NMAX 125

Tools Required:

1. Socket wrench set (including 8mm, 10mm, and 12mm sockets)
2. Torque wrench
3. Screwdrivers (Phillips and flathead)
4. Piston ring compression tool
5. Gasket scraper or razor blade
   6.Clean rag or cloth
6. Engine oil for lubrication
7. Torque specifications chart
8. Safety gloves
9. Safety goggles

Installation Steps:

1. Preparation:

   • Ensure the engine is cool before starting the installation.
   • Disconnect the battery and remove any covers to access the engine.

2. Remove the Old Cylinder:

   • Carefully detach any parts obstructing cylinder removal, such as the air filter box and exhaust.
   • Unscrew the bolts securing the old cylinder head using the appropriate sockets.
   • Gently lift the old cylinder off and set aside.

3. Clean the Surface:

   • Use a gasket scraper to remove any residue from the engine block.
   • Wipe the surface with a clean rag to ensure a smooth surface for the new cylinder.

4. Install the New Cylinder:

   • Apply a thin layer of engine oil to the piston and rings for lubrication.
   • Using the piston ring compression tool, carefully install the piston ring onto the piston.
   • Insert the piston and pin into the new cylinder.

5. Attach the New Cylinder:

   • Align the new cylinder with the engine block and gently lower it into place.
   • Reattach the cylinder head, ensuring all bolts are tightened according to the torque specifications.

6. Reassemble Other Components:

   • Reinstall any parts that were removed, such as the exhaust and air filter box.
   • Connect the battery and ensure all electrical connections are secure.

7. Final Checks:

   • Double-check all fasteners and connections.
   • Start the engine and allow it to idle for a few minutes, checking for any leaks or abnormal noises.

8. Completion:

   • If everything is operating smoothly, complete the installation by cleaning up the workspace.

Safety Precautions:

• Make sure the engine is off and cool to avoid burns.
