Product Installation Guide
Required Tools:
- Torx screwdriver (T20)
- Phillips screwdriver
- Flathead screwdriver
- Pliers
- Wrench (10mm)
- Socket wrench (14mm)
Precautions:
- Make sure to disconnect the battery before starting the installation process.
- Wear protective gloves and safety glasses.
- Ensure the motorcycle is in a stable and level position.
Step 1: Remove the Old Fuel Tap Valve Switch
- Locate the old fuel tap valve switch and disconnect the electrical connector.
- Use a Torx screwdriver (T20) to remove the screws holding the switch in place.
- Gently pull out the old switch and disconnect the fuel line.
Step 2: Install the New Fuel Tap Valve Switch
- Take the new fuel tap valve switch and align it with the mounting hole.
- Use the Torx screwdriver (T20) to secure the new switch in place with the screws.
- Connect the electrical connector to the new switch.
Step 3: Reconnect the Fuel Line
- Connect the fuel line to the new fuel tap valve switch.
- Make sure the connection is secure and not loose.
Step 4: Test the New Fuel Tap Valve Switch
- Turn the ignition on and check for any leaks in the fuel system.
- Start the engine and check for proper function of the fuel tap valve switch.
