Prepare Your Motorcycle
Make sure your motorcycle is on a flat surface and securely supported. Turn off the engine and let it cool down.
Drain the Old Oil
Place the drain pan underneath the oil pan. Use the wrench to remove the drain plug and allow the old oil to fully drain out.
Remove the Old Oil Filter
Use the oil filter wrench to unscrew the old oil filter. Make sure to keep it oriented upright to avoid spilling any remaining oil.
Prepare the New Oil Filter
Before installing the new oil filter, apply a small amount of new oil to the rubber gasket on the top of the filter. This ensures a good seal.
Install the New Oil Filter
Screw the new oil filter into place by hand. Do not overtighten; refer to the manufacturer's guidelines for proper tightness.
Reinstall the Drain Plug
Once the old oil is fully drained, reinstall the drain plug and tighten it securely.
Add New Engine Oil
Use the funnel to pour in the new engine oil through the oil fill cap. Refer to motorcycle your's manual for the correct oil type and amount.
Check for Leaks
Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes. Check for any oil leaks around the new oil filter and drain plug.
Dispose of Old Oil and Filter
Properly dispose of the old oil and oil filter according to local regulations.
