Product Installation Instructions for Oxygen Lambda Sensor Compatible with SR GT 200 Sport EU5 (2022-2023)

Tools Needed:

1. Socket Set:

   • 10mm socket for the oxygen sensor nut.

2. Ratchet Wrench:

   • To tighten and loosen the socket.

3. Torque Wrench:

   • To ensure proper torque specifications when installing the new sensor.

4. Pliers:

   • For handling wire connectors and securing any clips.

5. Screwdriver Set:

   • Flathead and Phillips screwdrivers may be needed for any surrounding cover removal.

6. Wire Brush (optional):

   • To clean the area around the old sensor before removing it.

7. Shop Cloths:

   • To wipe down any excessive dirt or oil from the installation area.

8. Safety Gloves:

   • To protect your hands during installation.

9. Safety Goggles:

   • To protect your eyes from debris.

Installation Steps:

1. Preparation:

   • Make sure the vehicle is turned off and parked on a flat surface. Allow the exhaust system to cool down completely.

2. Accessing the Sensor:

   • Locate the oxygen sensor on the exhaust system. You may need to remove any covers or shields that obstruct access.

3. Disconnecting the Old Sensor:

   • Use the pliers to gently disconnect the wire connector from the old oxygen sensor.

4. Removing the Old Sensor:

   • Use the ratchet wrench with the 10mm socket to carefully unscrew the old sensor from the exhaust system. Be cautious of any exhaust residue that may spill.

5. Preparing the New Sensor:

   • Inspect the new oxygen lambda sensor for any damage before installation.

6. Installing the New Sensor:

   • Carefully screw the new oxygen sensor into place by hand until it is snug. Use the ratchet wrench to tighten it further but ensure not to overtighten.

7. Connecting the New Sensor:

   • Firmly connect the new sensor wire connector into place.

8. Final Checks:

   • Check that all connections are secure and that the sensor is properly installed. If any covers were removed at the beginning, replace them.

9. Testing:

   • Start the vehicle to ensure that the new oxygen sensor is functioning correctly and that there are no error codes showing on the dashboard.
