Preparation:
Ensure the motorcycle is parked on a flat surface and the engine is cool. Disconnect the battery for safety.
Remove the Old Gasket:
Use the gasket scraper or razor blade to carefully remove the old gasket material from the crankcase cover and the engine surface. Clean the surfaces thoroughly with a cleaning cloth.
Position the New Gasket:
Align the new Engine Generator Stator Crankcase Cover Gasket with the crankcase cover holes.
Reattach the Crankcase Cover:
Carefully place the crankcase cover back onto the engine, ensuring the gasket remains in position.
Secure the Cover:
Use your socket wrench to tighten the bolts. Start from the center and work your way outward to ensure even pressure. Refer to the torque specifications in the motorcycle's manual for precise tightening.
Reinstall Any Components:
If any additional components were removed, reinstall them according to their original configuration.
Reconnect the Battery:
Reattach the battery and start the motorcycle to check for leaks and ensure proper functionality.
