Product Installation Instructions for Ignition Start Switch Compatible with Vauxhall Agila A, Astra G, Zafira A (1998-2009)

Tools Required:

1. Flathead screwdriver
2. Phillips screwdriver
3. Socket set (appropriate size)
4. Wire cutters/strippers
5. Pliers
6. Electrical tape
   7.Clean rag
7. Safety gloves

Installation Steps:

1. Prepare the Vehicle:

   • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a flat surface.
   • Disconnect the battery by removing the negative (-) terminal to prevent any electrical shock.

2. Access the Ignition Switch:

   • Remove any panels or covers surrounding the steering column to gain access to the ignition switch.
   • Use the flathead screwdriver or Phillips screwdriver based on the type of screws used in your vehicle.

3. Remove the Old Ignition Switch:

   • Locate the ignition switch and disconnect any wiring harness attached to it.
   • Unscrew the ignition switch using the appropriate socket tool.
   • Carefully pull out the old ignition switch from its position.

4. Install the New Ignition Switch:

   • Position the new ignition switch in place.
   • Secure it with screws using the socket set, ensuring it is tightened properly.
   • Reconnect the wiring harness to the new ignition switch, ensuring all connections are secure.

5. Reassemble the Steering Column:

   • Replace any panels or covers that were removed to access the ignition switch.
   • Use the appropriate screwdriver to reinstall the screws.

6. Reconnect the Battery:

   • Reattach the negative (-) terminal to the battery.
   • Ensure all connections are secure.

7. Test the New Ignition Switch:

   • Start the vehicle to ensure that the new ignition switch functions correctly.
   • Check for any electrical issues or warning lights on the dashboard.

8. Final Touches:

   • If necessary, clean any tools or debris from the installation area.
   • Dispose of the old ignition switch and any waste appropriately.
