Installation Instructions for Replacement Lamp Compatible with VPL Models

Tools Required:

1. Screwdriver Set

   • A Philips and flathead screwdriver to remove screws on the lamp cover.

2. Soft Cloth or Gloves

   • To handle the lamp safely and avoid oil from your fingers affecting the bulb.

3. Flashlight

   • To illuminate the area while working, if needed.

4. Dust-Free Workspace

   • A clean, flat surface to set down the projector and the new lamp.

Installation Steps:

1. Prepare Your Workspace

   • Turn off the projector and disconnect it from the power supply. Allow it to cool for a few minutes before proceeding.

2. Gather Tools

   • Make sure you have the required tools (screwdriver, soft cloth, flashlight) within reach.

3. Remove the Lamp Cover

   • Use the appropriate screwdriver to carefully remove the screws securing the lamp cover. Store the screws in a safe place.

4. Take Out the Old Lamp

   • Gently pull the old lamp out of the projector, holding it by its base. Avoid touching the glass part of the lamp.

5. Insert the New Lamp

   • Take the new replacement lamp, holding it by the base or using soft cloth/gloves. Align it properly, and gently slide it into the projector until it fits securely.

6. Reattach the Lamp Cover

   • Place the lamp cover back on the projector and secure it with the screws you removed earlier.

7. Reconnect the Projector

   • Plug in the projector and turn it on. Allow it to warm up, and check that the image is clear and functioning as expected.

8. Dispose of the Old Lamp Properly

   • Follow local regulations for the disposal of used lamps.
