Product Installation Instructions for Compatible Reverse Gear Sensor Switch for CF500 Linhai ATV M550L

Tools Required:

1. Socket Set (10mm and 12mm sockets)
   2.Wrench Set
2. Screwdriver Set (Flathead and Phillips)
3. Pliers
4. Wire Strippers (if necessary for electrical connections)
5. Electrical Tape
6. Safety Goggles
   8.Gloves

Installation Steps:

1. Preparation:

   • Ensure the ATV is parked on a flat, stable surface and the engine is turned off.
   • Disconnect the battery to prevent any electrical short circuits during installation.

2. Accessing the Reverse Gear Sensor:

   • Locate the existing reverse gear sensor switch on the ATV. It is usually found near the transmission.
   • Use a socket or wrench to remove any bolts securing the sensor in place.

3. Disconnecting the Old Sensor:

   • Carefully unplug the harness connected to the old reverse gear sensor. If necessary, use wire strippers to prepare the wiring for connection.
   • Remove the old sensor from its mounting location.

4. Installing the New Sensor:

   • Position the new reverse gear sensor switch in place.
   • Secure it with the bolts removed earlier using the socket set.
   • Plug the harness into the new sensor, ensuring a tight and secure connection.

5. Finalizing the Installation:

   • Reconnect the battery.
   • Test the new reverse gear sensor by activating the reverse gear and checking if it functions properly.
   • Ensure no loose wires are exposed. If needed, use electrical tape to secure any connections.

6. Cleanup:

   • Clear the work area and dispose of any old parts appropriately.
   • Return any tools to their designated places.
